Head Men's and Women's Coach
Chris Smith
3rd Season

Coach Smith has been the driving force behind Northeastern Squash from day one. His on court guidance and off court leadership has helped make Northeastern Men and Women true players in the Division I College Squash Association in just two and half years.

Coach Smith has led the Northeastern Men up the CSA's rankings from #44 in 2004 to #26 in 2006 (as of 11/26/2006) and the team is still moving up. The team's movement of 17 spots is the most movement any team has done in the CSA in recent years. Along the way, Northeastern captured the Chaffee Division Title at the 2005/2006 Team Nationals and was runner up for the Most Improved Team Award.

The Women's team is in its second year as a program and is about to hit the rankings climb like the men did in their second year. Coach Smith has already secured multiple recruits for 2007 as he has focused his attention on building the women's team quickly.

Coach Smith is also the USA Jr Men's National Team Coach and was named the United States Olympic Committee's "Development Coach of the Year" in 2005. He serves on the College Squash Association Men's Executive Board and is on the CSA Women's Ranking Committee.
